We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Studio Manager to join our team, who shares our passion for delivering awesome solutions for our clients. Ideally you will have recent relevant experience in managing digital projects, have a good understanding of web design, development and digital marketing and can demonstrate your past success in delivering web projects. Role Summary

As our Studio Manager you will be responsible the management of all web development projects undertaken on behalf of Buffalo clients, and other companies within the Buffalo group. Primarily your role will be to manage the production team and their schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget. Developing and maintaining relationships with clients will be a very important part of this role to deliver the growth we are looking for. You will be part of the senior leadership team of the company and responsible for all members of the web production team.

You will be responsible for:
  • The performance and growth of the web production department.
  • Staff and resource scheduling to ensure efficient and timely delivery of projects.
  • Keeping our project planning and support request systems updated.
  •  Ensuring all web development projects meet our internal quality controls before launching.
  • Standardising and documenting policies, practices and procedures for this department for efficiency gains.
  • Managing resources efficiently and effectively and identify when the use of freelancers is appropriate.
  • Improve reporting and communication between buffalo and clients.
  • Leading and motivating your team and ensuring they have a clear plan of work.
  • Provide educational and training opportunities for your team for mutual benefits.
  • Deputise for the Managing Director in his absence.
  • Working with the Finance Director ensure quotes and contracts, and other administration related to your role, are signed and filed in a timely fashion.
  • Attend sales, marketing and networking events.

You will be required to work on your own and alongside other team members and partner organisations, either in our offices or on location.
You may, on occasion, be required to carry out other duties, as are within your capabilities and level of responsibility, in order to meet the needs of the business. Where required full training and support will be available.

Part time, 20 hours a week. Due to the nature of the role you may on occasion be required to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.
