Last week at Buffalo we successfully launched our first seminar in our Afternoon Academy series.
The first in the series was aimed at how to drive sales through search engine optimisation. Search engine optimisation (SEO) can be a minefield to comprehend, especially if you don’t know what you are talking about or where to start. Aimed at small businesses in Yorkshire, it delivered simple and easy to understand information that they could take away and apply to their websites and social media platforms.
We delivered the event to 20 small local businesses, all interested in growing their website popularity and increasing customer turnover. The seminar was full of simple and cost effective ideas on how best to drive traffic and enquiries to their website.
Competing against some of the internet giants may be a bit further down the line, but the seminar showed all the attendees just how easy and manageable it was to compete with their local business rivals.
The live demonstrations were all made relevant to the consumers at the event, so all the information was relatable to the attendees, making it more personal than other seminars of this nature.
We received great feedback from the event scoring a great 4.7/5 on our customer feedback, with everyone leaving with tips specific to their business.
We received great feedback from the event scoring a great 4.7/5. Plus, keeping with Buffalo tradition, there was a free bar for the last hour too, we didn’t want to keep it all about work!
