We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our team, who shares our passion for delivering awesome solutions for our clients. Ideally you will have spent a minimum of one year in a similar digital field sales role and have recent, relevant experience of selling websites, SEO and online marketing services and can demonstrate your past success in winning new business. Your background and journey are irrelevant as long as you can satisfy the requirements of the role, can demonstrate a proven track record in meeting sales targets, have the personality to quickly develop relationships with clients and convince us you want to be part of the Buffalo revolution, you’re in!

Role Summary

As our Business Development Manager you will be required to identify new clients and generate new business for the company from our range of digital services. The ability to generate new business from scratch is a key part of this position as is building a multi-channel sales pipeline to ensure a consistent flow of opportunities and leads to convert into sales. You will be set and required to meet sales targets for which a healthy, uncapped commission structure is applicable.

You will be responsible for:
  • Generate your own leads and make appointments with prospective clients
  • Manage your sales pipeline to ensure a constant flow of opportunities.
  • Work alongside the Marketing Executive identify and manage new ways to develop leads.
  • Attend sales meetings at Buffalo Offices or at client’s premises.
  • Formulate and deliver written proposals, quotes and presentations based on client’s goals.
  • Document and record sales activity on the Buffalo CRM system.
  • Manage your own schedule and follow up with clients via email, telephone and in person.
  • Work to sales targets and produce reports on activity and outcomes.
  • Attend sales, marketing and networking events.
  • Working with the Finance Director ensure quotes and contracts, and other administration related to your role, are signed and filed in a timely fashion.

You will be required to work on your own and alongside other team members and partner organisations, either in our offices or on location.

You may, on occasion, be required to carry out other duties, as are within your capabilities and level of responsibility, in order to meet the needs of the business. Where required full training and support will be available.

  • Familiarity and genuine interest in web design, SEO and digital marketing.

  • Be able to meet deadlines and manage the entire sales process successfully.
  • Self-motivated and ambitious with the ability to work independently & productively without supervision.
  • Positive, results focussed, get things done attitude.
  • Have own transport.
  • Innovative, loyalty, reliability, honesty and integrity.

Type

Full time, 37.5 hours a week. Due to the nature of the role you may on occasion be required to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Salary

£30K OTE & uncapped bonus structure.
